June is going to be New Day’s last month of operation.

We launched during COVID lockdowns, when the need for home delivery was urgent and most of our producers were reeling from sudden, terrifying business interruptions. But once people began venturing out again, our business fell off steeply and we never managed to bounce back.

We love what we’ve created with New Day. We built something beautiful, even though it won’t last. We created something optimistic. We generated nearly a million dollars in high margin sales for a bunch of small food businesses during an uncertain time.

Please support us over the next few weeks by stocking up on your favorite items. And please stay connected to our community of producers, who offer their fine products at farmers markets, restaurants, food trucks, and retail stores.

We’ll miss the people and the adrenaline of packing days. And, of course, the food. Thanks for being part of New Day.

Delivery Info:

We deliver to the Greater Seattle Area as far north as Lynnwood and as far south as Burien, as well as the Eastside!

We charge a flat $10 delivery fee.

You can expect your order to arrive between 8am and 5pm on Saturday. For a more precise delivery estimate, please reach out to hello@rethinkinggroceries.coop on Friday.

Change Between Delivery/Pick Up:

Once you have confirmed your order, you are able to switch from home delivery to storefront pick up (or vice versa).

On the shop page, click on the check mark icon at the upper right hand of the screen (if you see a shopping cart, click on it and confirm your order first)
Select Edit Order
On the left hand side of the screen, find the gray box with Distribution Information
Midway down, under Address, select [Change Location]
Choose your desired distribution option and click Update

Pick Up Info:

You may pick up your order from our Maple Leaf storefront Saturday or Sunday between 12-4pm. Please note that baked goods are fresh on Saturday, and will be frozen for later pick ups.
